3 Senior Designers Leave Nike for adidas

adidas sending a bombshell by picking-up three of the most talented Nike’s designers. Marc Dolce, Mark Miner and Denis Dekovic will work for the three stripes from 2015.

Marc Dolce, NSW Senior Designer, whom we recently met in Madrid, has worked on the design of the Nike Air 1/2cent, the Nike Air Penny V and many hybrids such as the recent Nike Air Force 1 Lunar. Mark Miner, Nike Running Senior Designer, worked for nearly six years on the Nike Free line. Finally, Denis Dekovic, Nike Football Senior Designer, is the man behind the Nike Mercurial and the last Nike Magista view at the previous World Cup.

Due to confidentiality agreements customary in the industry, their first projects at adidas should begin by the end of 2015 as a design studio that will host the three creative open in Brooklyn, N.Y next year.
