Teased since few weeks, the Nike x A Cold Wall collaboration will drop this week in several retailers.
Samuel Ross revealed last week its new Nike Zoom Vomero+5 inside a true experience in London where some lucky guys could cop them. The entire collection is now here and put light on what the two brands were cooking for 18 months. We could easily compare these Nike Zoom Vomero+5 with some late 20s dad shoes but their giant heel remind another period. Everyone on the market easily noticed the reinterpretation of Puma’s Running System from 1986 but Nike and Ross haven’t shared any statement about that.
The clothing collection is, however, completely unique and is another example of Ross vision of an active line. The designer apply its brutalist aesthetic on some true Nike Sportswear Gear. The details of each of the pieces have not yet been revealed, but we can already see a series of jackets and jogging suits made from large panels of fabric simply clipped together. A new interpretation of functional design, praised by the winner of the LVMH award and Virgil Abloh’s close collaborator. We do not yet know the prices of this collection of clothing, which should be in a high average range seeing the usual prices of the brand.
The Nike Zoom Vomero+5 A Cold Wall will be available on November 28th at END as well as in a selection of retailers
