Since Teddy Santis has teased the lookbook of his next collection, two pieces have not gone unnoticed and are already proving to be highly anticipated. Teddy Santis continues to tease his two New Balance 990 Aimé Léon Dore.
Aimé Léon Dore and New Balance are two labels that like to collaborate together because they share common values around the design of a well-made product. Together, the two American labels have already designed two colorful New Balance 997s, and have allowed the ML850YSC to return to the United States before End in Europe. This time, Teddy Santis and Aimé Léon Dore decided to take care of the New Balance 990v5 and the New Balance 990v2 of 1998.
As usual, these New Balance 990 Aimé Léon Dore 990s have two striking visuals, featuring an elderly lady, a what could appear a Queen native, dressed in clothes that could be from Santis. Some visuals that are now common since the 997 Aimé Léon Dore already had them. For the rest these 990 keep their shapes and their very qualitative combos. The 990v2 offers a combination of grey/blue, pine green and yellow, all set on a white/grey mesh base. The 990v5 offers a more simple combination of navy and pine green only. Two pairs that perfectly matches with the Queens label’s last collection.
These two New Balance 990 Aimé Léon Dore should arrive very soon on the Aimé Léon Dore website and at a selection of retailers, some of which should be European, like End. The retail price of the two pairs should be around 250€ since the initial price of 990v2 and 990v5 already exceeds 200€.
