In 2004, Brazil, the Brazilian Veja marquee appears. Launched by two French (Ghislain Morillion and Sebastian Kopp), the firm aims to be fair and seeks to develop the industry. The two fellows who know nothing about shoemaking using local materials and are inspired by a Brazilian model of the 1970s. To Veja, which means “around you” in Brazil, the gamble has paid off quickly as the three existing collections (Volleyball, Bota and baby) are marketed in Europe, North America … Where they are extremely successful.
