As retro has become a trend, the new golden age of the nineteens has enabled many labels of the era that have disappeared from radar to enjoy a revival. DDP is part of those brands. For this end of year the label is back with two new waistbags.
French label created in Bordeaux by Laurent Caillet and Didier Mauroux, DDP used to crowd playground’s schools 20 years ago, in the form of school accessories, crewnecks or even large jackets. In 2018 its comeback takes place far from schoolyards and clearly appeals to young enthusiasts. Benefiting from a significant hype, DDP version 2018 represents a retro universe faithful to the label’s original vibes, a coherence however readjusted to current demand, notably with a highlighting of the collections under well thought-out lookbooks. Overalls, banana bags, hoodies and a logical touch of branding are thus combined to target the youth gen that loves this kind of item. A retro vibe putting DDP and its vintage offer back in the spotlight, proving once again that trends are only a succession of cycles. This new drop is based on two waistbags, a bag in yellow and black and a shoulder bag that follows the same pattern. These new items are already available on the DDP online shop.
