We announced this collaboration several months ago, the first pictures of the two pairs appeared at the beginning of February. Now, the Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind IV are officially unveiled.
Originally released in 1999, the Air Max Tailwind 4 perfectly represents the Nike Running world of the late 1990s. The muscular pair will be making a comeback in its OG colours, and would return to Nike’s line up, like many of the brand’s swoosh mirrors.
Now we know more about the two pairs from the upcoming collaboration with Supreme. The first of the two colorways offers a black iteration enhanced by touches of blue on the heel tab or on the small swooshes on the pair. Several iridescent lines underline the pair’s silhouette, when the black upper is illuminated by small reflective pieces integrated into the fabric.
The second colorway offers a combination of white color enhanced by many red parts. The iridescent line reappears on this colorway but in a more discreet way, we also find the same reflective pieces. The Supreme branding appears on the tongue and on the back of both pairs.
We don’t have yet a release date or price information, so watch closely the Thursday morning drops of the box logo’s brand to see these Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind IV.
Still in the Nike news, the Nike Air Fear of God 1 Yellow has a release date.
