Like every year now, Foot Locker Europe unveils their February upcoming sneakers release during the #HotestMonth event. Taking place during the NBA Global Games in London between the Orlando Magic and the Toronto Raptors in a confidential place located not far from NikeLAB 1948 LDN in Shoreditch, we discovered the coming innovations for 2016 and an special Nike Air Max Plus exhibition drawn from the personal collection of collector Steven Bryden.
For those who do not know it yet, the Nike Air Max Plus, also called Nike Air Max Tuned Air (TN) or “Shark” is an exclusive model introduced by Footlocker in 1998. This Air Max is to date the only model from Air Max range to be available only at a third retailer. The pair is the result of close collaboration between Beaverton designers and Footlocker whom share exclusive rights to this iconic pair. Indeed, from a strictly legal point of view, the midsole patent belongs to Footlocker and Nike retains ownership of the shoe’s upper.
Footlocker will highlight their innovation in 2016 with some OG colorway scheduled for reissue as well as new explosive colorways.
Here is an overview of what you will be able to find at Footlocker in February .
