The godfather of american trap, Gucci Mane, and Lil Pump link up for the single “Kept Back”.
Yesterday at 10:17 pm Gucci Mane dropped a new song to celebrate 10/17. Number originating from Gucci Mane‘s grandfather, 1017 is now the name of his music label : 1017 Brick Squad. The label has been home to people like Young Thug and Waka Flocka Flame and is still home to the likes Chief Keef, and Asian Doll who just released her first project under the label’s name : “So Icy Princess”. It’s a secret to none, Gucci tried to recruit Lil Pump when the later had contract issues with Warner Bros but it never happened for whatever reason. Aside from their collaboration on the “Gucci Gang” Remix and their performance on the 2018 Bet Hip Hop Awards, the 2 rappers had never officially collaborated together. It’s with a lot of beautiful women and heavy jewelry that both rappers show us their talents on beat produced by Murda Beatz. The song might also be a single for Gucci Mane‘s next album “Evil Genius”. You can watch the video down-below.
In unrelated news, Cav Empt and Nike teases their upcoming collaboration.
