Created by Tinker Hatfield in 1989, the Air Jordan 4 is about to have a busy year to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Indeed, multiple colorways and collaborations are planned for the silhouette throughout the year and two new colorways are in the works.
The first of the two colorways offers an iteration entirely in black-tinted leather. Several royal blue details appear on the laces loops, the inner lining or on the Jumpman. The sole work offers a black midsole with yellow and blue marbling, containing a tone-on-tone black Air-Sole unit. The outsole, on the other hand, takes over the black, blue and yellow combo of the midsole.
The second colorway is a WMNS exclusive and features a pink marbled upper with several black details. This Air Jordan 4 also features gold lace loops and its front and back ends have bright panels, particularly on the mudguard. A luxurious design, completed by a black and white tinted sole, and containing a tone-on-tone black Air-Sole unit with midsole.
Respectively named “Wings” and “Silt Red”, these Air Jordan 4s will be available on the Nike Store and at a selection of retailers. If the availability date of the Jordan 4 Wings is not known at the moment, the Silt Red version will be available Friday, for 190€.
In other Jumpman news, a documentary on the AJ1 is available in streaming.
