Nike and Jordan unveil the NBA All Star 2019 collection

A major basketball event is taking place and for that occasion Nike and Jordan unveil the 2019 All Star NBA sneaker collection.

The gargantuan collection features 18 sneakers, all of which will be released in February, around and during All Star Weekend. Nike and Jordan’s 2019 NBA All Star 2019 collection is divided into three parts, the first one called “On Court” offers a series of sneakers for playing, the second one called “Off court” offers a series of retro sneakers, and finally, the third one offers six other pairs from a special pack or from the new 720 silhouette.

To start with the “On court” collection, it proposes to start the new Nike Basketball sneaker, the ADAPT BB, in its original colour which will be available for purchase on February 17. Jordan also offers two new iterations for the WHY NOT ZER0.2 and the Jordan 33, the first one offers a new multicolored and eccentric colorway when the second one is tinted with a black and red silver colorway. The “On court” collection ends with the “signature” pairs of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Paul George. Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker offers a new pink iteration to the famous colorway “Aunt Pearl” to pay tribute to Durantula’s aunt, who died of cancer in 2000. The Uncle Drew’s signature sneaker offers a collaboration with ROKIT, composed of a fluorescent yellow midsole with several swooshes of different colors on the upper. Finally, the PG3 is tinted with an ACG colorway, with autumn colors.

The “Off Court” collection offers a selection of 6 Air Jordans from collaboration or OG colorway. The first being the Air Jordan 6 Infrared, which dropped today at a Shock Drop, and will have a second release on February 16. The second is the exclusive Jordan 1 UNC Patent Leather WMNS, which will be released tomorrow morning on the Nike Store. The third pair proposed is the Air Jordan 1 Turbo Green, that pays tribute to the host franchise of the NBA All Star Game. The pack also includes an Air Jordan 5 Varsity Royal, composed of a blue and yellow combo and reserved for the North American market. In addition, an Air Jordan 9 with a white and navy blue colorway will be available on February 9. Finally, the “Off short” pack is concluded by a collaboration between Jordan and the Social Status store, offering an Air Jordan 6 in pony hair and black reptile fabric with several purple buttons. This last pair will be released on February 13.

The third part of this collection will start with two pairs using the Air Max 720 sole, with an Air More UPTEMPO 720 triple black, and an Air Max 720 SATRN at the upper top and the colorway black and yellow. The two pairs will be released on February 12 and 17 respectively. Finally, the NBA All Star Game collection is rounded off with an exclusive Floral Pack, WMNS consisting of an Air Force 1, an Air Foamposite 1, a Nike Vandal and an Air Swoopes II. The pack, which offers a black colorway with a floral motif, will be available on February 14.
