While the men have just conquered the world cup last summer, it is the turn of the French women’s team to shine with the arrival of two new jerseys.
A few months after the release of the two-star version, it is now women’s football’s turn to be awarded the two sets of jerseys that Amandine Henry and her teammates will wear during the 2019 Women’s World Cup. The competition will take place on French soil and could well make history if France wins, as it would be the first time a nation has simultaneously won the major competition in both the men’s and women’s categories.
The home jersey is revealed in a predominantly navy blue fabric, the historical colour of the country, contrasted by a swoosh and a gold pink logo. The tricolour flag skillfully appears on the sleeves. The second jersey comes in white tones, with a multitude of blue dot-like details. They are actually hexagons referring to the old FFF logo and obviously to the shape of our dear country. The tricolour flag is also present, this time at the neck.
The Nike jerseys of the French women’s team should be available soon on the Nike Store. We will keep you informed when we have more information.
