Since 13 years, Nike gives the opportunities to some hospitalized children to create their own design and this year has been unveiled with the presentation of the Nike x Doernbecher 13th collection.
This unique collaboration has begun in 2003 and has given some exclusive pair that have stayed in the memory like the Jordan 12 from Mark Smith and Tinker Hatfield from last year. This new collaboration is now unveiled with 6 children that have worked on the most iconic silhouette of the Nike catalogue like the Air Max 0 of Chase Swearingen and the Chehayla Hyatt one, the Kyrie 2 of Andy Grass, the Huarache Ultra of Braylin Soon, the Janoski Max of Corwin Carr and also the Jordan 7 imagined by Damien Phillips.
All this pair has been imagined with an entire clothing line and will be available at selected retailers and on the Nike Store on December 17th. All of the proceeds will be reversed to the OHSU Doernbecher children’s hospital.
