This week we were invited by Diadora to visit their factory in Caerano di San Marco (Treviso) and the production line which resumes activity after 15-year hiatus, through the use of original refurbished machines. This “Made in Italy” line aimed at high-end sportswear and heritage models has already given birth to a series of collaborations welcomed by sneakerheads communities arround the world. We can enumerate SMU designed by Patta, Hanon, 24Killates, Solebox, colette x LaMJC or Packer Shoes.
With this strong comeback in the world of sneaker, Diadora, through Rudy Comazzetto and CEO Enrico Moretti Polegato, had shared with us their vision of sneaker culture in Europe and the future projects of the brand. The occasion also for our teams to visit their new museum tracing their most successful footwear creation as well as the style office and artisanal assembly line dedicated to special projects.
Good news for aficionados of retro running silhouettes like the N9000 and S8000. A third retro figure will be added to the catalog in the coming days, the V7000, reissued for the occasion in its OG colors.
Two new collaborations will also complement the hunting board of the Italian brand through participation of Ronnie Fieg and BAIT.
Finally, for those who complain of the difficulties to get the shoes in France, the brand promises to expand its distribution network in the hexagon in 2016.
We let you enjoy some pictures of the visit. Don’t forget to give us your feelings about the new projects of the brand in the comments section below.
