Today is November 9 and there’s no escaping the Friday music release. To help you see through the mass of music the usually drops on this particular we made a shortlist of the best project coming out today.

Lil Peep – Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2

Announced a few days after the anniversary of Peep’s death, the album was put together by Peep’s longtime producer Smokeasac and George Astasio from IIVI. Both of them already worked on the first part of the album that came out last year, just a few month before Peep’s passing. COWYS Pt2 is composed of 11 unreleased tracks (13 on Spotify with the addition of the XXXTentacion and ILoveMakonnen singles), among those, 3 were previously released to serve as singles : Cry Alone, Run Away and Life is Beautiful which dropped just 2 days ago. The artist’s estate announced (in the New York Times) that a documentary was to accompany the album. Documentary that might come with its own soundtrack.

Trippie Redd – A Love Letter To You 3

Third installment of the Love Letter series of Trippie Redd, the mixtape adds up to the size of the rapper’s discography. Even though Trippie Redd is still officially a rookie, the rapper has shown himself to be an hard working artist since it’s already his second project of the year. Mixtape of 16 tracks, A Love Letter to You 3 is supported by the lead single “Topanga” and will feature the likes of artists like Juice WRLD and NBA YoungBoy.

IDK – IDK & Friends

The young rapper from Maryland, Jay IDK gained some clout last year thanks to his first album IWasVeryBad. Even though fans are waiting for his sophomore album, the rapper said that it would not come out until next year but that he would instead release a collaborative EP with 7 of his friends … and what friends. Wale, Denzel Curry, Rico Nasty and Domo Genesis to name a few are some of the so called friends that are lending him an hand on this project. What more could we ask for ?
