Tyrrell Winston, best known for his works with deflated basketballs, presents his very first exhibition at the gallery La Cité in Paris, called ” Lines “.
In addition to his basketballs, the exhibition will also feature other works, including reused cigarettes and basketball nets. The artist wants to give new life to these everyday objects, worn and neglected, by highlighting them in his works. Thus, even if the primary purpose of his objects is no longer achievable, they take on a completely different dimension than the uselessness nature generally attributed to them.
The “Lines” exhibition will be held from February 13 to March 15, 2019 at the gallery at La Cité 14 Cité Bergère 75009 Paris.
