After a year 2018 full of emotion, the French team is back in the spotlight with a brand new jersey celebrating the 100th anniversary of the federation.
While les Bleus just received their World Champions rings a few days ago, they are now being offered a brand new tunic in honour of the FFF’s centenary. We find a jersey with a predominantly blue color much lighter than the latest versions, struck by a rooster completely reimagined for the occasion. The latter is presented in a gold tone with a banner that reads “100 years – 1919-2019”, surmounting the three F’s placed inside the traditional golden rectangle that has long accompanied the blue jersey. Finally, the two stars crown this unique logo. Note that the Swoosh also appears tone-in-tone to give a vintage look to this collector’s jersey.
The century-old jersey of the French team will be worn by the players during their match against Iceland tonight and will probably be sold on April 7 at 7000 copies on the Nike Store, the date of the creation of the FFF.
