After the success of Dragon Ball FighterZ, Namco Bandai continues with the very unexpected Dragon Ball Project Z.
When you think of a video game adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s iconic saga, it’s hard to see more appropriate genre than a fighting game. The vast majority of derivative games have followed this process except for a few exceptions, Dragon Ball Project Z joins this tiny part. Presented as an RPG, the game will cover Goku’s adventures from his fight against young Piccolo, until the confrontation on Namek with Freezer. It is very likely that the Cell and Boo arc will be present but no presence in the trailer of the two.
No gameplay elements have been revealed but everything should go quickly enough knowing that Dragon Ball Project Z will be released in 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. We will not hesitate to keep you informed about the evolution of this new RPG.
