Announced several months ago, the Nike Air Max 720 finally holds its release date. Three different dates for the first six colorways that will arrive in very limited quantities.
With its futuristic design, the Air Max 720 has been gradually unveiled since early 2018. From now on the pair holds its official photos and actual release dates.
Overall, the pair offers a tapered neoprene-type synthetic upper with several patterns that appear as panels, on the sides and on the toebox. The oversized sole of the pair features a tone-in-tone mudguard with the upper, an impressive Air-sole unit and an outsole tinted with a color linked to the upper.
As for its release, the Air Max 720 will be offered to the public in 3 different stages. Indeed the very first colorway, “Northern Lights” will be released on February 1st on the SNEAKRS app and at a selection of retailers in limited quantities. The second wave will offer the “Sunrise” and “Sunset” iterations on February 21, exclusively to Nike+ members. Finally, three other colorways named “Total Eclipse”, “Sea Forest” and “Pink Sea” will arrive on February 28th on the Nike store and at a selection of retailers in limited quantities.
A progressive release therefore, for what seems to be the swoosh brand’s strategy for 2019.
In the rest of the news, Nike returns to space with the Air Max 90 Mars Landing.
