Delivering a limited edition picture book entitled ‘Dapper Dan’s Harlem’, Gucci proudly showcase photographs shot by filmmaker and photographer Ari Marcopoulos – taken as he explored the New York neighbourhood of Harlem. Blending haute couture with hip-hop, the hardback book immortalises Daniel Day’s latest collaboration with the Italian label, as well as showcasing some of the people who own OG Dap pieces. Available in an exclusive run of 500 copies, this must-have publication documents Dapper Dan’s home and the work of his eponymous atelier, which shut down in 1992 and reopened with the help of Gucci in 2017.
